Jer 23:1–6; Canticle 19 (Lk 1:68-79); Col 1:11–20; Lk 23:33–43
Bishop Terry Dance
The feast of the Reign of Christ caps the church year, celebrating one who taught, healed, touched lives, and gave the ultimate sacrifice. As the suffering servant, Jesus’ ministry was intentional and inclusive, caring for people in need and challenging corrupt authority, knowing full where where that would lead. In His death we see the start of a revolution: as his followers we are called to be a movement that brings light to the world, challenging the same things that Jesus did, and being a force for change.
