Christmas 2017

Isaiah 61:10–62:3; Psalm 148; Galatians 4:4–7; Luke 2:22-40

Rev. Dr. Tim Connor

Throughout advent we looked forward with a sense of anticipation and urgency to the coming of Jesus. Today, on the first Sunday after Christmas our perspective shifts, looking back to the manger and an event that is now past. We shift out view forward again when we look for Jesus coming again in ways that are unexpected. We recognise Him in the stranger in need of hospitality, and others who present themselves as in need of our help.
