Pentecost – 2016

Acts 21:1-21; Psalm 104:25-35; Romans 8:14-17; John 14:8-17,25-27

Rev. Dr. Tim Connor

We celebrate the giving of the Holy Spirit, a celebration of joy, of breath, wind and fire bringing peace and new life, which is Jesus’ gift of creation to us all. The spirit makes Jesus present to the church, drawing us into closer relationship with the Father, so that the words and deeds of Jesus influence us. Those led by the Spirit belong to the family of God; by adoption we are drawn into the shape of the life of Christ.
