Easter V – Year C

Acts 11:1-18; Psalm 148; Revelation 21:1-6; John 13:31-35

Rev. Dr. Tim Connor

In commanding us to love one another Jesus gives us an identity as his followers and an agenda for how we should behave toward others. By example, he invited his disciples to follow him, he fed them, he healed them, gave them humble service and taught them to put their trust in God. The love of Jesus is a sacrifice, offering service so that others can have abundant life. His followers are identified by their love for others played out in following his example.
