Rev. Dr. Tim Connor

Faith becomes difficult in moments when we see haunting scenes of the unspeakable cruelty that people are capable of. Such scenes present a deep problem that mars our humanity. The Baptism of the Lord draws presents an alternate, a baptism of repentance that changes our behaviour and draws us into covenant fellowship with God. In so doing we are prompted to serve others, motivated by love, eschewing anything that would diminish the humanity of others.
